Here’s a quick overview on the Femme Fleur lipstick from NARS’ limited edition Hardwired Lipstick collection, created for NARS’ Laced with Edge Holiday collection. Yes, a sub-collection in a collection. This screams for a Venn diagram!
Described as a shimmering brick red shade with gold pearly sheen, the lipstick did not disappoint. It glided on smoothly, and, like other NARS lipsticks, is lightweight, highly pigmented, fragrance- and scent-free. Unlike the Audacious lipsticks, Hardwired lipsticks do not come with the magnetic case (which I’ve grown fond of).
NARS’ Femme Fleur appeared nude on my lips without any traces of red. It is only mildly glossy, making it one lipstick that would work with just about anyone!
