The Olive Tree Company

Guys, if you haven’t tried SLS-free shampoo yet, do it now!
I’m a huge fan of SLS-free shampoo, which have been difficult for me to stock up on (too hard to find and/or too expensive) until I was introduced to The Olive Tree Company*.

SLS is the abbreviation of Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, and it is one of the major components of mass-produced shampoos. SLS is a foaming agent and for me, it weighs down my hair and irritates my scalp.
Do note that there are a lot of arguments over this ingredient, but after having tried SLS-free shampoo, my hair has been spoiled rotten.

With The Olive Tree Company‘s Rosemary & Mint shampoo, my hair is lighter, more voluminous and my natural waves stay in place longer (just like when I used this SLS-free shampoo). And yes, this shampoo will not lather like regular shampoos.
I don’t have a recent photo of my hair, but it’s sort of visible here. How I style my hair/set my waves every single day the lazy bum way can be found here.

The Olive Tree Company’s Body Lotion (Rose Geranium) is lovely to use as well. Its scent is pleasant (it reminds me a tiny bit of Diptyque’s Eau Rose) and the best part?
No sticky residue. The lotion is incredibly lightweight and applies onto skin smoothly.

Their products are made in Australia using vegan, biodegradable ingredients sourced from plants, and are free of palm oil, parabens, petroleum, phthalates, sulfates (SLS, SLES, etc.), synthetic colours/fragrances and harmful chemicals and preservatives. No animal testing either, which is a plus for me.
I’m really looking forward to seeing what The Olive Tree Company launches next.
Maybe travel-sized sets?

The Olive Tree Company’s Shampoo retails for RM79.90 (500ml) while the Body Lotion retails for RM69.90 (250ml).
