It’s almost Christmas! Anyone else excited for the holiday season as much as I am? Nothing warms the heart more than festive decor and Christmas songs. Sephora has launched their limited edition sets for Holiday 2014, and here are my picks (courtesy of Sephora)!
If you’re looking for something versatile, you cannot go wrong with Eyeko’s Eye Do Mascara (RM79 for 8ml) & Liquid Eyeliner (RM59 for 0.8ml) set and the Brow Liner. Lining your brows and eyes, even just a tad bit, makes you look so much more groomed than going without. For smooth hands, Soap & Glory’s Hand Food Trio (RM49) is a steal, which features 3 of their raved Hand Food creams, which includes Original Pink, Fruitigo, and Sugar Crush. With all the handshaking involved at Christmas parties, keeping one in your handbag is a lifesaver. Too Faced’s Christmas Party Must Haves (RM69) makes a great gift as well. The box contains Better Than Sex Mascara, Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzer, Primed & Poreless Skin Smoothing Face Primer and Shadow Insurance Eye Shadow Primer.
For ladies (gentlemen too) who love glowy skin, go get the Urban Decay Naked Illuminated shimmering powder. I’m actually quite surprised by the size of this baked powder (RM99 for 6g), and it comes with a mirror and mini brush! Pictured above is the ‘Aura’ shade. GlamGlow’s Supermud (RM240 for 34g) also works well to give glowy skin. The mud mask promises to help fight all common skin concerns including breakouts, discoloration, black and white heads, razor bumps, and in-grown hair. I am also a huge fan of sheet masks. The amount of hydration it provides is revolutionary, and For Beloved One‘s Melasleep Whitening Bio-Cellulose Sheet Masks (RM145 for 3 sheeets) has earned rave reviews! Hydrated skin = healthy skin!
For the one who burns the midnight oil, I cannot recommend Algenist enough. Their products are truly fragrance-free, not even any of it to make their products scent-free. That does mean that they do smell rather chemical-y, but oh-so-suitable for sensitive skin!
For the beauty junkie, I recommend the Make Up For Ever Travel Brush Set (RM275), which includes #150 Precision Blush brush, #216 Precision Eye Blender brush, #228 Precision Shader brush, and #172 Precision Corrector brush. Another brush to consider is the Urban Decay Naked Basics Double Ended Brush (RM63) for eyeshadows. I have a soft spot for double-ended brushes. Both Make Up For Ever’s and Urban Decay’s brushes are cruelty-free and vegan (meaning no animal components), and I’m very pleased with that!
