Besides fattening me up with a lovely lunch, NARS has gifted me quite a lovely selection of products, and I cannot wait to show you guys everything! First up is the NARS’ La Notte nail polish.
La Notte is a lovely creme ink/midnight blue nail polish; emo black’s demure twin. The closest colour I have to La Notte is OPI’s cult shimmery Russian Navy. Pictured above is with three light coats of La Notte with Seche Vite’s top coat.
I love the fact that NARS has opted for a flat and wide paddle brush because this makes nail polish application so much easier and precise as shown in my nail polish brush guide. Also, I cannot comment on the nail polish’s longevity. It all boils down to the quality of your base and top coats, and what you do with your hands (cleaning, cooking, washing up, swimming etc.), but with proper products and techniques, nail polishes should remain chip-free for at least 3 days.
In a nutshell, La Notte is a gorgeous shade, highly pigmented, and is a must-have in your stash. It is now my new favourite nail polish! NARS nail polishes are available in the NARS store in Pavilion KL for RM65 (15ml).
