Eyeko is one of hottest exports from London at the moment, thanks to their It girl and Creative Consultant, Alexa Chung with her signature winged eyeliner. Yes, I was excited when Sephora sent me a tube.

I absolutely love liquid eyeliners and have high expectations: precise nib, good pigmentation, no fading, no smudging. Being RM49 (half the price of most eyeliners sold in Sephora), the Skinny Liquid Eyeliner performed well. It isn’t the blackest of black, so making it perfect for any occasion as it isn’t too harsh on the eyes. The eyeliner did not fade as well even after a day, although I have to note that there was tiny bit of smudging below the outer corner of my eyes after my lunch break (I do not line my bottom eyelids).

Like its name, the Skinny Liquid Eyeliner has a finer nib hence providing a more precise application to define your eyes. The eyeliner dries almost immediately as well so it’s safe to blink right after application 😉 I have to note that for complete removal, it’s best to go with an oil-based makeup remover. Rinsing off with warm water will result in a smudgy mess, which I’m not too fond of.

There are users who have complained about the eyeliner drying up after 2 weeks, so I’ve put mine to the test. I’ve used it a couple of times, left the tube to sit for a month, then try to use it again. Mine did not dry out, but the colour seemed to have faded. Nothing a little shake-before-use couldn’t fix. My Skinny Liquid Eyeliner is now working perfectly again.

The Eyeko Skinny Liquid Eyeliner retails for RM49 (2g) is available is Sephora stores nationwide, Zalora and ASOS.
