Nail drying drops are a must-have if you’re in a hurry. With only one or two drops needed per nail, these drying drops are to be applied after the final layer of top coat. The drying drops only dries the final coat of nail polish, so each layer of nail polish (including base and top coats) must be completely dry before proceeding to paint over another layer.

I have three drying drops to compare today: OPI’s Drip Dry (RM 76 for 9ml) which I’ve used for years, Sephora’s Express Drying Oil (RM 35 for 7ml) and Essence’s Nail Art Express Dry Drops (RM12.90 if I remember correctly at Watson’s, for 8ml).

To properly compare between them, I used a crème colour as they take the longest to try (using Dolce & Gabbana’s Drama here), skipped my quick-drying Seche Vite top coat, and used each brand on each nail. Guess what? All three dried my nails at the same pace and performed equally, hence my top pick would be Essence’s, with its long pipette and very, very affordable price.
Drip, dry away!
