NARS has never disappointed me when it comes to lip colours, and Burning Love is no different. From their limited edition Holiday 2014 collection, Burning Love* is described as a bright ruby shade with subtle shimmer. Speaking of rubies, a gemologist has once told me that pure red rubies are now extremely rare, and most rubies now have strong cool undertones that make the gems look pinkish. Burning Love is also slightly pink once applied on lips.
Like their other lip colours, NARS’ Burning Love is well-pigmented, unscented (score!) and applies like a dream. Elvis would approve!
