My friend, shoe designer Nelissa Hilman has also collaborated with Jonathan for this collection by providing the lovely loafers, while Sereni & Shentel provided the headbands.
Only at a tender age of 25, Jonathan has had shown a collection a London Fashion Week, and was named Most Promising Designer at the Malaysian International Fashion Week 2009 with his friend Tengku Syahmi (whose show at KL Fashion Week 2013 I’ve recently featured here)
In 2010, he also took on the role of principal designer of Ultra, a sustainable fashion brand he co-created with Tengku Syahmi, Tengku Chanela Jamidah and Anita Hawkins.
I particularly loved how he has played with sheer fabrics and sharp cuts.
It’s impossible to select just one piece as a favourite. I don’t think I’ve featured so many photos in one post.
