I absolutely love brunches, especially on weekends. Bigger meals, and slower-paced days!
Cheryl and I recently revisited Thirty8 at the Grand Hyatt for Sunday brunch after our not-so-pleasant experience with their afternoon tea.

We loved Thirty8’s expansive gourmet selection, and I immediately grabbed my favourites: salads (including caprese salad), pasta, eggs benedict, dim sum, sushi, scallops and more. Their miso grilled cod was lovely as well and cooked to perfection.
Desserts included yoghurt, macarons, cème brûlée, mini churros and pavlova.
Their macarons have now softer compared to the rock hard ones back then, but were still too sweet and we’ve addressed that to the manager.
We’ve actually dropped by Thirty8 for Sunday brunch 3 months ago (oops) but finally wrote about it today, so I’m sure Thirty8 has improved on their desserts since then.

Thirty8’s Sunday brunch goes for RM190++/pax (inclusive of chilled juices) and RM360++/pax (with unlimited champagne).
