Last week, Yen and I embarked on a 5-day getaway to Bali for a much-needed break.

We headed to Ubud, the cultural heart of the Hindu-majority island. The people are warm and friendly, not to mention there are rice fields aplenty!
Located about an hour’s drive from the airport, I highly recommend visiting Ubud for some peace and quiet.
There are countless stores selling handcrafted accessories and silver jewellery, not to mention the vast numbers of resorts and villas available.

A must-visit is Locavore, a Balinese fine dining restaurant that just impressed us that we’ve turned into one of those travelers who insist that their friends drop by next time they’re in Bali.

More to follow!
