Where do I begin with this eyeshadow palette? Being a NARS product, I already have high expectations for this palette.
The name being a mouthful aside, the NARS Inoubliable Coup D’Oeil Eyeshadow Palette* features lovely neutrals and earthy tones: Dalliance: Dusty Lilac Stone; Pyla: Smokey Hunter Green; Sidi Bou Said: Blackened Grape; Pandora I: Sheer White Shimmer; Luberon: Iridescent Sand with Rose Gold Sheen; Pandora II: Matte Black.
The eyeshadows are very smooth and pigmented, although I recommend using an eyeshadow primer beforehand so the shades adheres and shows better on your skin.
For a basic smoky eyeshadow, I first applied Luberon over my lids until the brow bone, then slowly applied a darker shade (my favourites are Hunter and Sidi Bou Said). I used Zoeva‘s 229 Eye Finish brush for these 2 steps, in a windshield wiper motion. After that, I used Pandora II to lightly smudge the bottom of my lids with the 320 Smoky Liner brush before finishing off the look by blending again with the 229 Eye Finish brush and a swipe of eyeliner.
I’m impressed by how much these brushes picked up the eyeshadows! Zoeva brushes are available via their official website and locally via Luxola.
No complaints whatsoever about the palette as the colours are just gorgeous, but do feel free to ask away in the comments!
