Easy Blush Tutorial with a Figure 8

Remember how most magazine taught us to swirl our blushes onto the apples of our cheeks? Throw that out. I could never gotten my blush application right, until I dropped by Make Up For Ever’s Pro Boutique during one of their workshops and asked one of their makeup artists there.

Make Up For Ever’s method is foolproof and creates a very natural look. Here, I’m using their HD Blush (RM125) in 215 Flamingo Pink.

  • Set no-cross borders by aligning your brush to your eye and corner of your lips. Your blush shouldn’t get too close to your nose and mouth.
  • Swirl your brush into your blush, making sure that both sides of your blush brush have picked up some product.
  • Place your brush on your temple and sweep in a figure 8 twice, keeping in mind not to cross those borders in the first step.
  • VoilĂ ! You’re done!
