I’m a sucker for hydrating skincare products, and I cannot wait to tell you all about Dr. Jart+ Ceramidin Liquid and Cream*. My heart did sing a little bit when I saw that the serum and cream came in a bottle and tube respectively! No more cumbersome lids and no more products drying out!
It is just like having a wish come true after my previous post on how the holy grail of BB creams that is Dr. Jart+’s is ruined by its own packaging.
Ceramides are natural lipids that are found in your skin, and according to Dr. Jart+, Ceramidin is bio-synthesized ceramides.
I’ve used both the Ceramidin Liquid and Cream for the past month or so, and I cannot live without them.
After cleansing, apply a dollop of Ceramidin Liquid and massage generously onto your skin, followed by Ceramidin Cream. Both products were absorbed almost instantly.
Yes, both the Liquid and Cream did give me dewy skin, too dewy in fact as my skin actually looked oily. With Dr. Jart+’s claims that Ceramidin will give 26-hour hydration, I switched to using Ceramidin only at night, and what a difference it made! Healthy, glowing skin in the morning! A very mild, sweet scent is also present in both products, but does not overwhelm at all. Dr. Jart+ also suggests using Ceramidin Cream as a base for your BB Cream (or foundation) and lipstick.
Ceramidin products are also cruelty-free and free of parabens, sulphates and phthalates!
I cannot reiterate enough how important a hydrating serum is for you, whether your skin is oily, dry, sensitve, or combination. My skin has never looked better since my pimple-ridden school days and cracked-skin university days.
Dr. Jart+ Ceramidin Liquid retails for RM129 (150ml) while Ceramidin Cream retails for RM149 (50ml) and are available at the Dr. Jart+ counter in Sunway Pyramid. Selected Dr. Jart+ products are available on Luxola.
If you can only afford one, I suggest going for Ceramidin Liquid and following up with your regular moisturiser. A good serum does wonders for your skin.
