I’ve never been a big fan of rose scents until I received Diptyque‘s Eau Rose hand lotion. The scent infuses Turkish Damask and French Centifolia (or Rose de Mai) roses, bergamot, blackcurrant and lychee; a wonderful homage to roses which just completely soothe me.
A quick visit promptly followed just so I could sample the rest of Diptyque’s Eau Rose collection properly. The Eau Rose fragrance is just as lovely, and after much thought, I placed an order for the EDT, as if I was hypnotised. This is a rarity for me as I’ve never purchased my own fragrance prior to this. The scent, however, did not last through out the day as compared to the other fragrances reviewed here.
The hand lotion has a very similar scent to the EDT, which I absolutely love. It is just a tad greasy, but it is just what my increasingly-calloused hands need from holding on to dear life in my aerial yoga and aerial hoop classes.
Two of them now sit carefully in my closet, and it still continues to infuse my trinkets with Diptyque’s lovely Eau Rose scent.
