Bobbi Brown recently sent me two lipsticks from their latest offerings: Hot Berry and Sandwash Peach. Hot Berry is a fuchsia hue with blue undertones. You may even see tiny specks of blue shimmer if you look closely; Sandwash Peach is an earthy nude shade with tinges of peach to make your lips appear brighter.
To be completely honest, I’ve never been a fan of lipsticks. The weight of it on my lips feels constricting and subconsciously I would feel uncomfortable talking or smiling.
Oh, unadventurous me.
Like Bobbi Brown‘s signature fuss-free and nude/neutral approach to shades, both lipsticks are rather sheer without being too glossy nor too matteband give a very natural finish, hence making them perfect for the “no makeup” makeup look. They are incredibly lightweight, almost nothing on your lips. I’m also particularly fond of the lipstick’s shape, as the contour my lips fit the nook of the top of the lipstick perfectly during application.
