Ah, Bangkok!
Cheryl, Saran and I spent 4 days (or was it 5?) in Chinatown to source for supplies for DIYKL (sign up for our workshops here!).

No trip to Bangkok would be complete without a trip to Pratunam Market and Platinum Mall.
Trendy and high-quality clothes for an average of 200 baht each at wholesale prices? Yes, please!
(For the sake of humanity, please leave the dudes at home)

We went without a solid itinerary, and whenever possible, I love just wandering around to see what I could discover during my travels.
Cheryl and I stumbled upon Scoopp when we were exploring around our hostel, and it is our favourite find in Bangkok so far.
We shamelessly went back for ice-cream everyday.

Imagine this:
30-baht per scoop of homemade ice-cream.
More than 60 flavours.
Mindblown.

Boy, was it the vacay I needed. It has been more than a year since my last proper break, and I enjoyed every moment of it. There’s always something new in Bangkok that is just waiting to be discovered, and yet with a sense of familiarity that always pulls you back.

In case you were wondering, yes, I didn’t take photos of food because I was too busy eating.
