I have a friend who does feather extension in NYC and they are quite popular. I like the colours of the peacock feather here, but I also agree with you that it's a little too long, and the styles I have seen with the smaller feather seem to work the best.

If you can find a way to soften the peacock feather, then it'll look great together with the hair!

I'm currently experimenting with the bird feathers, and the blue one first! Looks quite alright, at the moment!
