Haha I love your last little comment. When I went for afternoon tea at The Plaza I was so in awe of the display I took lots of pictures.... this looks so yummy, I love warm scones jam and cream, reminds me very much of tea at my home when we were younger (ok so we didn't have cream often only as a treat but it was still AMazing.) Now I have a real craving...!

Lol that's because I don't edit my photos much. The one that takes the most time is adding copyright info into each photo's EXIF data (takes seconds each time actually)

What a truly wonderful afternoon! Yes, smoked salmon is a must for the sandwiches and usually served on brown bread. Very happy to see the cucumber sandwiches were served on white bread.

How come you couldn't finish? Did you eat before or after? For me, Afternoon Tea is my lunch, snack and often dinner. Yesterday, for example, I had breakfast at 10, afternoon tea at 14h30 and then a bowl of blueberries for supper. Next time don't have lunch - that's what the sandwiches are for :-)
