I’ve recently received a bottle of ‘My Burberry’, the fashion house’s latest fragrance. Elements of Burberry‘s cult trench coats can be found all over the bottle: a button as its cap, a swatch of fabric knotted around the nozzle, and its shape takes inspiration from the pockets. ‘My Burberry‘ is named after the affectionate way in which people refer to their Burberry trench coat.
Top notes consist of sweet pea and bergamot, while golden quince and freesia form the heart, and the fragrance ends with patchouli and damask and centifolia roses form the base notes. Burberry notes inspiration from an English garden fresh after rain, resulting in a fruity, floral but not overly sweet fragrance. ‘My Burberry’ is versatile and more grown-up, suitable for women of all ages with day-to-night schedules, making it one step closer to being Burberry’s signature fragrance.
