Triangle Manicure

Just like the half-moon/reverse French manicure (click here for my tutorial), this triangle design is very simple.
I've had my black nails for a week, and they haven't chipped much so I added golden triangles to freshen up my manicure. This saves so much time!

  • Wear off the stickiness of the tape by sticking them to your palms first. Overly-sticky tape will smudge your nails when you peel them off.
  • Cut a triangle (as shown in the bottom photo) and place them on your nails. Also, do not reuse the tapes because the uneven surface and edges of the triangle will give you bumpy lines (as seen on my pinky nail)
  • Paint over the second colour and allow it to dry completely.
  • Gently peel off the tape and voilà! Remember to seal and protect your manicure with top coat.

I love how minimalistically (is that even a word?) badass my nails look.

  1. Hey, brilliant tutorial to add on the golden layer without peeling off the base colour.
You should do a nail tutorial video! It'll be a hit on youtube!

Btw, I wonder how you managed to take photos of your left hand using cameras on your right hand. It's a 50mm somemore. xD
