Happy Wesak Day!
ReplyDeleteI was covering a function for Wesak Day yesterday at one of the main temples in Kuching and it was really an eye-opener for me! I enjoyed myself, though. I love how the temple was filled with candles and the statues were magnificent!
So glad that you had a great time, Doreen!
DeleteYes, my favourite part is always the candles ;)
Happy Wesak day! :)
ReplyDeleteHappy (belated) Wesak Day to you too, Cheryl!
DeleteVery beautiful! Wish I could've been there!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Sheila! There's always next year ;)
DeleteThe colours in the last few images here are very striking. I'd love to see something like this in person one day.

You should, SOTC! Temples are always packed with devotees (and tourists!) so just walk in! ;)
