When my sister and I met up with Sheila and Hanif at 1Utama yesterday, I bought a bottle of Graphite from Chanel's Fall 2011 collection.
(Like you don't know that I love sparkly things already)
I wanted the Coco Blue one too but it's sold out :(
Retailing for RM70, I think Chanel cosmetics are a little cheaper here in Malaysia (even when compared to duty-free shops at airports!
My sister got a Rogue Allure lipgloss in #60 Excès, the most stunning shade of red I have ever seen, for RM95.
(Click on the items to compare prices sold on Chanel's official site. Yes, we bought them from the Chanel beauty store!)

Worn with Revlon's #705 Grey Suede.
(Is it just me or are Revlon's brushes thinner now? It's getting really hard to apply Revlon's nail polishes)
Anyway, Graphite looks a little like the Peridot at certain angles, but it's hard to capture it on camera.
The glitter reflects a lot of colours, especially red at some angles!
PS: A little reverse manicure this time using cellophane tape instead of the rounded ones. Tutorial HERE!
This is a recycled manicure, where I've had the Revlon one on for a few days, and painted the Graphite on top to freshen up my manicure.

Shame right? If the Coco Blue was available, I would've bought it too!
ReplyDeleteThe matte top coat is next on my list. With that, there's no need buy matte nail polish! :D
@Sheila: It really was! I really couldn't find the PERFECT shade of baby blue (or maybe because Chanel always made the perfect colours and will get sold out within days)
ReplyDeleteI'm still contemplating if I should get the top coat since I want to collect all the colours!
oh wow, i love your manicure! especially with the graphite that i didn't really like in the beginning - stunning! will have to try it myself!
ReplyDelete@Kazuko: Thank you so much! It looked like regular silver nail polish at first, but when I finally saw it in person and up close, there is a beautiful hint of green (and I don't like green!)
ReplyDeleteLet me know how your manicure turns out ;)
LOVE seeing posts about make-up and nail colors! Such a cute idea for your manicure! I just bought a Butter London shade of pretty brown I'll be putting on soon .. a new bottle of polish is always fun! ;)
