The last time I was at Whisk (located at the Empire Shopping Gallery), I only bought some macarons to take home (as seen here)
I’m very happy to say that I’ve finally sat down and enjoyed their wonderful creations today
Whisk is a family-owned tiny bakery, but the whole time my friend Jane and I were there, the bakery was never empty.
People came in for their cakes, coffee, and of course, their macarons!
Can’t remember what the flavours are exactly, but our favourite was the peanut butter one (in gorgeous turquoise!)
Not surprised as it’s one of their bestsellers.
The red velvet cake. The icing is just sinful!
The name ‘Peony Jade’ tea was just screaming my name. It was recommended to me by one of the co-owners, Nora.
Had it without sugar, and it’s now my new favourite tea
Jane had the Berry Chiller.
Whisk’s business card.
Whisk is incredibly busy during the weekends and will run out of cakes and macarons, so be sure to follow them on Twitter to get their latest updates!
UPDATE! (23 May 2011)
Went to Whisk again with Sheila
I think Whisk’s macarons are getting better!
Faves: Peanut butter (turquoise) and red velvet
My Piccolo Latte.
Tastes great without sugar.
